Mentor City

Mentor was first settled in 1797. The population was 47,159 at the 2010 census. In July of the same year CNNMoney.com ranked Mentor 37th on its Top 100 Best Places to Live in America. The city is also home to Headlands Beach State Park, the longest public swimming beach in Ohio. Mentor is home to a significant number of biomedical firms and international and national corporate headquarters, and it is the 7th largest retail city in Ohio, and home to Great Lakes Mall.
