Local Chambers of Commerce

(Formerly the Madison-Perry Chamber of Commerce and the Painesville Area Chamber of Commerce)

The Eastern Lake County Chamber is a membership organization representing about 700 businesses in the Lake County, Ohio communities of villages of Fairport Harbor, Grand River, Madison, Perry and North Perry, as well as Madison Township, Painesville Township, Perry Township, Concord Township, Leroy Township and the City of Painesville.  www.easternlakecountychamber.org

Although each of the three chambers of commerce in Lake County functions autonomously, we all share some important common goals:

  • Offer solid networking and business-boosting opportunities for members
  • Be a strong business advocate — work to improve the business climate
  • Be a valuable business resource for members
  • Save member organizations money

Therefore, the chambers of commerce in Lake County work together, in a consortium.  We create countywide events to help the business community and leverage our numbers to help save our members money on important things like workers’ comp and health insurance.  And the chambers coordinate with the other players in the Lake County economic development scene. www.lakecountychambers.com

The Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce represents approximately 700 businesses that are active in the Mentor area, even though several are based outside of Mentor.

In early 2013 the Willoughby Area Chamber of Commerce and Western Lake County Area Chamber of Commerce joined together to merge into one chamber. The newly united Chamber represents the cities of Eastlake, Kirtland, Wickliffe, Willoughby, Willoughby Hills, Willowick and the villages of Lakeline and Timberlake.
