The City of Mentor-on-the-Lake is 1.6 square miles in area. Located close to major highways and Interstate 90, it’s an easy commute to downtown Cleveland. There are four parks, approximately 100 businesses including an 80,000 square foot grocery store, several banks, major fast food restaurants as well as small family run eateries. As of the census of 2010, there were 7,443 people in the city.
